About Yakima Recycles Glass
We proudly partner with Yakima Recycles Glass, a dedicated nonprofit organization run by passionate volunteers.
Yakima Recycles Glass hosts glass collection events for the Yakima Valley community, ensuring that your used glass is responsibly recycled and transformed into new glass bottles in Oregon. By offering low-cost recycling solutions, Yakima Recycles Glass makes sustainable practices accessible to all.
Join us as we work hand in hand to educate and promote eco-friendly initiatives throughout the valley. Together, we can create a more sustainable future for our community!
Our Impact
Our December event at the Rotary Marketplace diverted 6,600 pounds of glass. Our January event at YVC diverted 5,400 pounds of glass.
All of this glass will be sent to Oregon to make new glass!

Disposal Cost based on weight, $5 min. donation for every 20lbs (about 20 wine bottles)

Volunteers will inspect your glass and let you know what can and cannot be accepted
