Recycling just 50 pallets (our maximum booking) keeps approximately 2,000 lbs of wood out of the waste stream. That is a full ton of material diverted from our local landfill in a single pickup!

The pallet industry is one of the largest consumers of hardwood lumber in North America. When pallets are landfilled, new trees must be harvested to replace them. Every repaired pallet we return to the Yakima workforce saves the energy, water, and timber required to build a new one from scratch.

2/Collection
We pick up your pallets and transport them directly to Yakima Specialties.
3/ Assessment
Their expert team examines every pallet to determine its potential.
4 / Repair & Reuse
Pallets that can be saved are repaired and resold, extending their lifecycle and supporting local jobs
5/ Closing the Loop
Any pallets beyond repair are chipped and sent to Portland to be transformed into particle board. This material often returns to our region to be used in new local projects.
